BTS – The Next Level

Yesterday I heard the news about the indefinite break. I was cool with it until night fell. That was when it hit home.

I feel very connected to the BTS members. The ‘Bangtan Sonyeondan’ life is intricately linked to my life and my best friend’s life. It is something that I cannot put into words. But I’m sure the members and ARMY will understand the feeling.

So, as I was falling down the dark tunnel of sadness that the ‘Bangtan Sonyeondan’ life doors have closed, I had an epiphany – the 9 of us have grown up together. And in their lives and our lives (best friend and me), there is a chapter that closes and a new one opens.

And this is it. A new chapter. We will always go back to the previous content and their discography. It will always be there. The ‘Bangtan Sonyeondan’ life is always going to be there and we will always be in it. In my mind’s eye, it’s like that building (Bangtan Sonyeondan life) is there but now next to it another construction is taking place.

So, now as we level up in life individually, the moments we shared will always be there to fall back on. And when the time comes for our new memories, we will be all ok, because, as our boys said – the best is yet to come.

Namjoon, Seokjin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook – you mean the world to me. I wish you all the best in life. Do exactly what you want. And know that you will have two girls(one year older than Jin) supporting you no matter what.
